Checked luggage

The transport of your luggage up to the given limit is included in the price of the ticket although this exemption may vary according to the type of tariff or conditions of your BinterMas loyalty card.

Flights Between Islands

Generally, a basic tariff includes an allowance of 23 kg. The difference in the authorised weight is the so-called 'excess luggage', an amount that must be paid by the customer in the airport before being allowed to board. The price per kilogram varies according to the route, so that if you will be carrying more luggage than that authorised on your ticket, please consult the cost in your usual point of sale.

International Flights

The free baggage allowance is, at least, one piece of luggage weighing 23 kilograms, and it may vary depending on the tariff and the destination. It is defined in the ticket conditions.

The cost of excess baggage over 23 kilograms/piece of baggage up to a maximum of 32 kilograms/piece of baggage is €60 (It will not be possible to check-in pieces of baggage weighing more than 32 kilograms). If the passenger wants to include an additional piece of luggage, the passenger must pay 150 euros for each piece.

We remind you that you must not carry dangerous articles in your checked luggage and we recommend that you do not include fragile, perishable or valuable articles (cash, jewellery, precious metals, computers, personal electronic devices, negotiable documents, real estate bonds or other objects of value, business documents, passports and other identification documents or samples) since the airline cannot accept legal responsibility for them so that we recommend that you carry this type of object as carry-on luggage whenever possible. Some types of luggage or content may also be refused at check-in.

TICV reminds that, non-declared content in checked luggage is Passenger’s responsibility.
